Who We Are
Camplex was founded in 1988 by Fred Carlstrom as a CADCAM service bureau for the automotive and toolmaking industry. The company focused on providing specialised CAD modelling and CNC toolpath programs to the toolmaking industry. Laser scanning, reverse engineering and rapid prototyping technologies were progressively implemented as the demand for these services grew.
In 1989, Camplex was appointed as Delcam’s exclusive sales partner for the Australian and New Zealand region. This relationship has continued for over two decades, and is a testament to the professionalism and knowledge Camplex is able to offer to its' customers.
2002 saw Camplex take up the exclusive agency for a range of 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing technologies. This enabled Camplex to be an industry leader by bringing affordable rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing technology to the local marketplace.
