Objet Showcases New Affordable Desktop 3D Printers at NMW

19 Apr 11

XYZ Innovation will be showcasing the new Objet24 desktop 3D printer at the National Manufacturing week (NMW), Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on May 24 – 27 (stand no# 3811).

NMW is the only fully integrated annual manufacturing exhibition showcasing the latest products and constantly evolving technologies in the expanding manufacturing market.

Objet24 and Objet30 are the first affordable, high-resolution desktop 3D printers offering intuitive simplicity.  The desktop range puts high-quality, true-to-life models in reach of any industrial engineer or product designer.  With accurately printed prototypes, designers can better experience and share their designs, eliminate mistakes and minimize repeated print cycles.  Models produced on the Objet24 and Objet30 are ideal for design reviews, focus groups, exhibitions and fit and function testing.

This is the first time Objet has offered a range of high-resolution desktop 3D printers for under AUD$40,000 that deliver true-to-life printed models with exceptional ease of use and quality.

Companies who have purchased an Objet desktop 3D printer provided the following feedback:

“Unfortunately, every other 3D printer we evaluated either didn’t meet our resolution standards, or was too expensive, or both.”  Orchid, USA

“The quality of print is such that you cannot distinguish between the models and the end products, thus allowing them to be exhibited at shows.”  Top Notch, Sweden

Objet systems are in use by customers worldwide, including Fortune 100 companies, in multiple industries such as dental, medical, medical devices, education, consumer electronics, automotive, toys, consumer goods, and footwear industries.

XYZ Innovation is a dedicated distributor for Objet 3D Printing equipment in Australian and New Zealand.  Daniel Thomsen, Business Manager of XYZ Innovation advised “ We are also pleased to introduce a greater range of materials for use in the Objet30, broadening the scope of applications.”
